Business Intelligence now has a dedicated date field type
Custom properties in Business Intelligence have always supported text
and numeric values. v5.1 adds a third: date.
Store structured date values — engagement start dates, remediation
deadlines, retest windows — as first-class BI properties. They show up
in your dashboards, filter properly, and track across projects just
like your other custom fields.
If you’ve been storing dates as text fields, now is a great time to
migrate them over and take advantage of proper date filtering.
