Quick update to let you know I’ve just pushed what will become the 3.x branch of the code to the repo:

I will try to keep this post updated with the things that are supposed to be working, so if you have some time to give it a try, I’d appreciate any feedback.
At the moment there are lots of moving parts and nothing is really set in stone, hopefully things will stabilise as the deadline approaches
